In 2024, we would like to onboard a Technology Sales Executive as consultant (part-time) to accelerate our revenue creating activities by reaching new customers and closing larger deals.
Scatterin, a Stockholm-based spinoff company from research at KTH, is on a mission to enable industries in harnessing the capabilities of the world's most powerful microscopes: neutron and synchrotron X-ray facilities.
What we offer:
With our easy-to-use data analysis software -Scatterin SaaS- and end-to-end materials analysis services, we make neutron and synchrotron X-ray facilities industrially efficient and accessible.
Our technology help companies to significantly reduce the time required for materials, component, and process analysis while acquiring high-quality analysis results that were previously unattainable with conventional lab-scale techniques. This helps companies to cut time and cost in R&D and quality control while boosting their innovativeness.
Our Track Record:
The performance and benefit of our offerings have been validated in projects with global companies in energy, aerospace, steel, and tooling industries. We created revenue through service sales in our first operational year in 2022 and achieved a sixfold increase in revenue in 2023. We now have happy and recurring customers. We have released the first version of our data analysis software in October 2023, and it is currently being tested in Germany and Sweden.
Our business is about cutting time and cost while boosting innovativeness for companies. You will sell and help us create value for our customers with our data analysis software -Scatterin SaaS- and end-to-end materials analysis services.
Your responsibilities will include:
Prospect and identify new potential customers- both for our software and our service offerings.
Present and sell our end-to-end materials analysis services and our data analysis software to new and existing customers.
Develop and maintain relationships with new companies as well as new departments in existing customers.
Manage and build the sales pipeline to ensure conversion and hitting targets.
Work closely with technical team to bring customer feedback into product development.
We envision someone who has:
The ability to communicate technical concepts in simple and value-based terms. You don’t need to be an expert in the field, we rather value your value-based approach in sales.
Proven sales track record.
Deep insight into the industries that we target. Industries can range from transportation, energy, electronics, and aerospace to mining, metal production, and manufacturing. You know the potential pain points, industry trends, and challenges that the potential clients face.
You know how to find correct contact persons at the companies.
Strong sales/communication skills and you enjoy sales. You are great at building relationships, listening and understanding needs, and create a tailored offer resulting in a win-win situation for Scatterin and our customers. You are fluent in English and Swedish.
Experience in complex B2B sales tasks and you are persistent and resilient in following up to close deals without being pushy.

What We Offer You:
We value your expertise and commitment. It is a part-time appointment with 20-50% involvement, starting at your earliest convenience, as mutually agreed upon. You'll receive a fixed monthly fee and bonuses for successful sales. Initially, we propose a 6-month contract with the potential for extension based on mutual agreement. Given the nature of this consultancy appointment, we expect candidates to work for or have an established consultancy company.
